Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety and Wellbeing Specialist to lead our health, safety and wellbeing initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting a positive culture and ensuring the well-being of our employees.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective health and safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing training and guidance to employees on health and safety matters.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will possess a sound understanding of ANZ Workcover requirements and be able to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
You will also have experience in using various MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and be able to create reports, presentations and other documentation as required.
Job Specifications
Candidates must have a tertiary qualification in WHS, solid working experience of Model WHS Act, Regulations and Codes, and a minimum 5 years' experience in delivery of HSW advice and service.
The ideal candidate will possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across a diverse organisation.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of ANZ Workcover and related requirements, as well as experience in various MS Office applications.
A strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential, as is experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
