About the Role

As an experienced Accounting professional, you will collaborate closely with senior management to provide strategic advice and recommendations on financial planning, revenue growth, and expense management. You will support operations in banking, auditing, and reporting.

You will be based at our Kalgoorlie office, working alongside a dynamic team of accounting professionals.

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for improved data collection and reporting efficiency.
  • Consolidate Group accounts, including consolidation and elimination journal entries, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare daily and weekly cash reports, monthly bank reconciliations for all Group bank accounts, to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Oversee budget and forecast activities, including continuous management and support, to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage taxation activities, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and handle Group BAS and Payroll Tax responsibilities, including regulatory audits.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in managing financial systems, budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation, and providing financial advice (mining experience highly regarded).
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • Practical experience in using MS products, particularly Excel and large ERP systems.
