Job Title: NPD Practitioner

The role of the Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner is multifaceted, serving as a learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for inquiry, and advocate for NPD specialty.

In this position, you will continuously use environmental scanning to intentionally assess opportunities and challenges within and externally to the organization.

As an NPD Practitioner, you will actively interact with learners to contribute to nursing professional development processes and ensure the achievement of measurable outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include orientation, research/evidence-based practice/quality improvement, professional role development, and continuing nursing education.

This position requires a minimum of two years of nursing experience, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and current, valid Florida State of Nursing license as a registered professional nurse.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in nursing or related field and prior experience as a preceptor/educator.
