Berry Street's implementation of the Teaching Family Model provides a holistic approach to supporting young people in out-of-home care. As a Therapeutic Specialist, you will work closely with the young people and Residential Care team to facilitate reflective practice and build knowledge of therapeutic parenting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans in conjunction with the client and care team.
- Collaborating closely with the client and care team to achieve agreed goals within a specified time frame.
- Providing expert clinical support to the Southern Therapeutic Residential Care program.
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills; ability to build effective relationships with young people and their care teams; knowledge of therapeutic parenting strategies.
