Senior Credit Specialist

The Role:

This is a highly skilled position that reports directly to the Credit Manager and is responsible for maintaining all credit and collections procedures and processes.

This role is initially a 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent, allowing for long-term career growth and development.

Based in Arndell Park, this position offers flexibility to work from home two days a week after some training, promoting work-life balance and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collections of overdue accounts
  • Allocations and Invoicing/Receipting
  • Maintaining a ledger of both small and large accounts, ensuring accurate financial records and effective account management.
  • Creating new accounts and Dispute resolution, fostering strong relationships with customers and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Banking and Bank reconciliations, ensuring seamless financial transactions and minimizing errors.
  • Dealing with credit queries and Identifying credit risk, providing expert advice and making informed decisions.
  • Journal entries and Other ad-hoc duties as required by Credit Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Your Skills & Experience:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Intermediate excel skills (v look ups/pivot tables), proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Experience in working with at least one large ERP System, ensuring smooth integration and efficient workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders.
  • Proven collections ability across a large ledger, results-driven and customer-focused.
  • Results and customer-focused, delivering high-quality results while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Experience in a high-volume, transnational environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service, providing personalized support and building strong relationships.
  • Team player, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
