Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled coordinator to join our team in the underground coal mining industry. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in cut and flit mining and/or gateroad development.

The role involves leading crews, setting positive examples and assisting in team development. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this position.

The ideal candidate will have NSW Deputy qualifications and be able to plan, manage and deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.

Safety is of utmost importance, and the successful candidate will have a deep understanding of statutory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role with a focus on UG Coal Cut & Flit and/or Development works;
  • NSW Deputy qualifications;
  • Current S123/G2 Supervisory Statement of Attainments;
  • Demonstrated experience leading crews, setting positive examples and assisting in team development;
  • Has successfully planned, managed and delivered projects within agreed timeframes and budgets;
  • Very high regard for safety with a deep understanding of statutory requirements;
  • Ability to complete, analyse and deliver reports in agreed timeframes;
  • An advocate for continuous improvement and setting high standards of work;
  • Experience coaching and mentoring crews.
