Are you ready to take your procurement career to the next level? At Translink, we're looking for a motivated and innovative AO4 Procurement Officer to join our dynamic Procure to Pay team. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping procurement strategies that directly support Government priorities and deliver real value.

About The Role

In the role of Procurement Officer, you will work as part of a dynamic procurement team to assist with developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies and activities. Responsibilities include:

  1. Monitor and review end-to-end procurement activity by creating Purchase Orders and processing payments. Assist with procurement planning, documentation, evaluation, supplier negotiation, contract documentation, and supply arrangements establishment and maintenance.
  2. Provide accurate and professional advice and support to Translink staff regarding end-to-end procure-to-pay activity.
  3. Liaise, negotiate, and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders regarding procure-to-pay processes, procedures, training, and delegations.
  4. Assist Translink staff with contract management, including planning, contract administration, Accounts Payable, and reporting.
  5. Contribute to the identification and implementation of initiatives to improve procure-to-pay processes and activities, including establishing and maintaining systems, tracking, and reporting to support team objectives.
  6. Support complex procurement projects by undertaking administrative support functions as directed by the Senior Procurement Advisor, including reporting on progress and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in contemporary procure-to-pay and contract strategies, policies, and practices relevant to the key tasks for the position.
  • An ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in leveraging data and technology to assist the business in making meaningful decisions, including participating in the design of new and innovative solutions.
  • Experience in collaborating with team members and stakeholders to work through challenges and overcome obstacles.

Highly desirable: Professional certification in procurement.
