About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Urban Planner to join our team at SPACELAB Studio in Canberra. As a key member of our Urban Projects Design Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of innovative urban planning solutions for various projects, working closely with our team of urban designers, landscape architects, and project feasibility specialists.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Participate in the formulation of project direction and outcomes, utilizing your expertise and advocacy skills to drive project approvals.
  • Work within the project budget and timeframe, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
  • Australian or New Zealand residency with permanent work rights.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competency in CAD software for urban design applications.
  • Additional qualifications in related disciplines, such as urban design or landscape architecture.
