About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Urban Planner to join our team at SPACELAB Studio in Canberra. As a key member of our Urban Projects Design Team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from urban renewal and greenfield developments to detailed design for small spaces.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable urban planning solutions.
  • Collaborate with our team of urban designers, landscape architects, and project feasibility specialists to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and private clients.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Proven experience in urban planning, with a strong understanding of planning principles and policies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Australian or New Zealand residency with permanent work rights.

**Nice to Have:**

  • Competency in CAD software.
  • Additional qualifications in related disciplines, such as urban design or landscape architecture.
