Heavy Equipment Service Technician

The Heavy Equipment Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support to technicians and customers via phone. They will assist in organizing parts for service jobs, attend field breakdowns, and repair cranes in a timely manner.

This role requires the ability to troubleshoot warranty problems beyond the scope of distributors or customers. The technician must also interact with personnel on matters related to service materials, product requirements, and availability.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma with 5+ years of technical service experience
  • OEM or dealer experience in heavy equipment or crane background is advantageous
  • Specialist training in the crane industry or Manitowoc Cranes is beneficial
  • Trade certificate in mechanical or electrical trades, with automotive and Canbus diagnostic skills
