Local Industry Participation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Professional to lead our Local Industry Participation initiatives and promote Indigenous employment opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders, building relationships with local businesses and community groups, and driving initiatives that maximise local content and job outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase local supplier and contractor participation
  • Collaborating with procurement, commercial and HR teams to support local industry engagement
  • Coordinating with government agencies and industry partners to facilitate access to funding and resources for local businesses
  • Fostering a strong network of contacts and relationships within the Indigenous community, business and industry sectors

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship-building and project management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
