Job Title: Group General Manager

This is a critical role that requires a professional with significant leadership experience, high commercial acumen, and a process-led approach to lead the product, R&D, and engineering functions across an international footprint for the business.

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our international product group. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, developing and executing strategies to drive growth, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.

  • Manage cross-functional teams to successfully deliver product projects on time and according to quality requirements.
  • Scheduling, Risk Management, and Budgeting experience.
  • Maintain financial oversight of the product group function, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting of financial outcomes.
  • Be responsible for revenue, gross margin, and cash flow management of the portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage diverse teams across large product functions to execute project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and project deliverables.
  • Make decisions on developing new or rebadging/modifying existing products.
  • Distribute projects across various resource groups to maximize the international group, focusing on technical competence and workload of the teams.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified with experience developing and driving multi-site product groups. International teams would be advantageous.
  • Experience working across diverse international product portfolios with different opportunities and requirements.
  • Strong engaging customer approach. We are looking for an outgoing driver in personality who is still humble in their approach.
  • Extensive experience leading commercial multi-disciplined teams across B2B channels using a customer-centric approach. B2C also helpful.
  • Strong understanding of business operations including sales, product, and key account management.
