Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Product Design Director to drive the development of our product portfolio. This key role will be responsible for overseeing the design, manufacturing, and delivery of products that meet our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement design strategies that align with our brand vision and market trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing and developing new products, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate costs and ensure compliance with our quality standards.
- Monitor sales reports to identify areas for improvement and inform design decisions.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective product promotions and campaigns.
- Travel domestically and internationally to visit factories, suppliers, and retail stores as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar role within the fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, trends, and garment construction.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using design software and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
