Inventory Planning Professional

As an Inventory Planning Professional, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring a seamless and economical flow of parts and materials using the SAP ERP system.

  • Effectively execute inventory planning strategies to meet production and operational requirements.
  • Regular meetings with Maintenance Planners and other personnel to understand materials requirements.
  • Review and report on daily Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and communicate status and any rectification to business partners.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained to support maintenance and production schedules.
  • Liaise with vendors and other Whitehaven sites and assets to secure parts availability.

In this role, you will bring expertise in inventory planning, strong analytical skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to driving operational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, proven experience in inventory planning, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proficiency in SAP (S/4 HANA) or similar industry-specific ERP systems, intermediate to advanced skill level in MS Excel and MS Power BI, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively across various work streams.
