Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Contract Management Specialist to support complex supply chain requirements for the sustainment of the Wedgetail program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain currency of existing subcontracts, negotiating and implementing complex subcontract variations as needed.
  • Manage existing subcontracts, promoting subcontractor collaboration to ensure on-time performance and compliance.
  • Develop practical and efficient solutions to complex procurement and subcontract issues.
  • Identify and develop appropriate sourcing strategies and approaches to market for goods and services, including software and engineering services.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and execute contract documentation in accordance with delegations of authority.
  • Manage subcontractor invoicing compliance and reporting.
  • Participate in risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Ensure compliance with supply chain management corporate governance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years' work experience in contracts management or procurement.
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in law, business, or commerce (desirable).
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good working knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed across contracting and procurement, and their interdependencies with other departments and disciplines.
  • A willingness to work in a team environment.
