About This Role

Enhance your mining career by stepping into a leadership position at our site. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to support production teams in achieving their goals safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the production supervisor to lead a crew and achieve production targets.
  • Take on supervisory duties when required.
  • Conduct regular inspections and create reports as per site policies.
  • Coordinate dispatch personnel, production operators, and equipment to meet production schedules.
  • Apply best practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
About You:
  • Previous experience as a step-up supervisor or leading hand in open-cut coal mining is highly valued.
  • A strong understanding of open-cut coal mining operations.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills with a friendly and motivational approach.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in the coal mining industry.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A verified list of machinery skills (training transcripts) signed by the senior site executive or delegate.
  • Current S123 and G2 certifications.
  • Current Standard 11 certification.
  • A current driver's license.
