Coal Mine Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Mining Manager to lead our mining team at a prominent open cut coal mine.
The role requires visionary leadership across all facets of mining, including truck and shovel operations, mine services, and operational drill and blast.
This is a rare opportunity for someone with the necessary expertise to take on this critical position and drive success in our mining operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Set the strategic direction for operational success, ensuring integrity and compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost performance, aligning with corporate objectives and long-term mine plans.
- Engage stakeholders and build strong relationships with the workforce, community, and industry partners.
- You must be willing to obtain your coal Surface Mine Manager (SMM) certificate of competency by the legislated date.
- A proven track record of delivering results in safety, production, and cost management in a senior operational leadership role within open cut coal mining is essential.
- Strategic acumen and exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills are highly valued.
