Job Title: Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled leader to oversee our Outside School Hours Care service at Algester State School. This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering 38 hours per week, including 6 non-contact administration hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Educators onsite, including roster management, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, including compliance and administration.

The Coordinator will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours, Monday to Friday, and during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and facilitate engaging child-centered programs with exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art, and craft.
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, schools, communities, and parents.
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite and manage the day-to-day operations of the service.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading teams and strong communication skills.
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check and a state check for working with children.
  • Australian work rights and a qualified or enrolled Diploma or Higher qualification in Education, Childcare, Humanities, Allied Health, Sport, Drama, or similar.
