Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Business Development to manage a team of specialist solution sellers and contribute to the growth of our Australia and New Zealand Region. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to create, implement and execute a strategic GTM plan that aligns the team to unlock enterprise-wide deals for Fortinet specialist products and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. They will be able to sell solutions to enterprise customers, think strategically, and develop innovative business solutions. A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of Specialist BD Sellers to focus on strategic, must-win technology domains across the ANZ Region.
  • Develop and implement a regional strategic specialist business plan.
  • Engage with Sales Leadership to drive focus in their book of business to drive growth in key accounts, outside of core product.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, product and solution engineering teams to execute a strategy that aligns to company goals.
  • Monitor and analyze market and industry trends to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Able to sell solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative business solutions.
  • A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills to executives.
  • Goal-oriented individual, with vast interpersonal managerial skills, strong business acumen and positive leadership abilities with proven results in mentoring, motivating and developing teams.
