Midwifery Expertise in High-Risk Care

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our Inpatient Services team, providing expert clinical leadership and promoting contemporary midwifery practice.

  • This role involves delivering high standards of clinical practice, focusing on complex care planning and supervision for high-risk patients.
  • You will lead and support the multidisciplinary team in managing patient deterioration, including high-risk pregnancies and critical events.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will provide education and mentoring to junior staff, promote effective communication and clinical problem-solving, and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a tertiary maternity service.
  • Extensive experience providing midwifery care to high-risk patients and offering expert clinical advice.
