Refrigeration and HVAC Apprenticeship Opportunities

We have three apprenticeship opportunities available for Refrigeration and HVAC technicians in Metro New South Wales. In this role, you will work alongside highly skilled technicians to complete preventative and reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in refrigeration control systems
  • Establish the basic operating conditions of vapour compression systems
  • Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components
  • Install refrigerant pipe work, flow controls and accessories, maintaining low temperature systems
  • Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings
  • Locate and rectify faults in low voltage electrical equipment using set procedures

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Mechanical aptitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to participate in working as part of a team
  • Own transportation and current Victorian Probationary or full Driver's Licence
  • Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check
  • Ability to work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
