As a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team to complete preventative and reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and participate in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and rectify faults in refrigeration control systems
  • Establish the basic operating conditions of vapour compression systems
  • Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components
  • Install refrigerant pipe work, flow controls and accessories, maintaining low temperature systems
  • Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings
  • Locate and rectify faults in low voltage electrical equipment using set procedures

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Mechanical aptitude, an eagerness to learn and ability to participate in working as part of a team
  • Own transportation and current Victorian Probationary or full Drivers Licence
  • Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check
  • Be able to work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues
