About the Role

This is a newly created position in our Partnerships and External Engagement team, responsible for developing and implementing a UNSW partnership framework and network.

The Networks Manager will contribute to strategic initiatives, manage internal stakeholders, and develop databases and systems to support external stakeholder relationship management.

  • Support the Director in implementing a new Partnership Program and other strategic initiatives and activities.
  • Lead the development of content to build academic capabilities to manage partnerships and engage for greater impact.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality communications materials for external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with partners across industry, government, and community.
  • Plan and execute engagement activities such as events, meetings, and stakeholder management.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant tertiary degree with extensive experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong project management capabilities with strategic thinking skills and ability to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce effective briefings and presentations using tools.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.

  • Highly developed problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
