Key Role Information

This role is a new opportunity in the Partnerships and External Engagement team to contribute to the development and implementation of a UNSW partnership framework and partnership networks.

The Networks & Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing internal stakeholders, supporting strategic initiatives, and leading the establishment and coordination of cross-university networks to enhance collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strengthen cross-faculty and divisional engagement.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support the Director, External Engagement and Partnerships in implementing a new Partnership Program and other strategic initiatives and activities.
  • Lead the development of content to build academic capabilities to manage partnerships and engage for greater impact.
  • Develop and utilize databases and systems to support external stakeholder relationship management.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality communications materials for external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with partners across industry, government, and community.
  • Manage and coordinate priority partner projects.
  • Plan and execute engagement activities such as events, meetings, and stakeholder management.
Essential Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary degree or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through education, training, or experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong project management capabilities with strategic thinking skills and ability to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to produce effective briefings and presentations using PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide effective customer service and support to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a highly adaptable and consultative manner to deliver the best outcomes.
