About the RoleThis is a full-time position based in one of our facilities, with regular travel between sites. You will be working closely with facility managers, care support coordinators, and community partners to ensure the provision of person-centred care. We offer a generous salary packaging option, which can increase your take-home pay.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs of our residents;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvement;
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality care and services to our residents;
- Assess and design individual lifestyle programs that meet the unique needs of each resident;
- Provide support and guidance to care staff on matters related to lifestyle programs.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged and Community Care);
- Certificate IV/Diploma in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) or relevant qualification at Certificate IV level;
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in residential aged care or community setting;
- Ability to assess and design appropriate individual lifestyle programs;
- Understanding of the ageing process and caring for older people;
- Well-developed communication, organisational, and computer skills;
- Self-motivation with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks;
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Records Check and NDIS check;
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check (WWC).
- Management qualifications at a Diploma Level (e.g., Frontline Management);
- Qualification as a Diversional Therapist;
- Knowledge and experience of Aged Care Accreditation requirements;
- Knowledge of current Health and Safety requirements;
- First Aid knowledge.
