Role Description

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our participants. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and lifestyle choices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs
  • Provide active night supports and ensure the safety and well-being of our participants at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III/IV, Diploma or Degree in Individual Support Disability or equivalent
  • Current Driver's License and willingness to obtain Manual Handling, First Aid, and Medication Administration training
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS Worker Screening check and Working with Children Check
  • Experience in managing participants with challenging behaviors and providing support with bowel management and transfers
