Swimming Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming Teacher to join our team at the Moonee Valley's new Aquatic & Recreation Centre in East Keilor.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and teaching effective swimming and water safety techniques to students of all ages and abilities.

As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for leading swimming lessons, promoting water safety awareness, and providing a positive learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilitiesPromote water safety awareness and educationDevelop and implement engaging lesson plansMaintain a safe and supportive learning environmentCommunicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong passion for swimming and teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
  • A current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) and CPR certification
  • A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
