Project Engineer Role in Water Treatment
Our Utilities practice area seeks a skilled Project Engineer to contribute to water treatment system design and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design: Assist in designing water and wastewater treatment systems, pump stations, and utility infrastructure.
- Engineering Calculations: Perform hydraulic modeling, process design, and engineering calculations.
- Report Preparation: Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and construction specifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support permitting efforts and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and technical staff on project meetings, field investigations, and construction site visits.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Charlotte office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- 4+ years of experience in treatment design and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling, treatment process design, pump station design, and utility infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have experience in water/wastewater treatment processes, hydraulic modeling, permitting, and construction administration, with a passion for delivering sustainable and resilient water infrastructure solutions.
