Risk Compliance Specialist

We seek an experienced investment risk and compliance professional to join our organization.
- Support the Investment Team in managing compliance and risk by advising on policy and procedure development, monitoring pre/post-trade activity, and ensuring adherence to investment agreements.
- Track compliance with investment guidelines and risk limits across all mandates and aggregated portfolios, reporting breaches and coordinating resolutions.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, external managers, and the fund custodian to ensure effective implementation of model risk management.
This role requires a tertiary qualification in finance, economics, business, or actuarial studies, with key designations such as MBA, CFA, CAIA, or FRM being highly desirable.
Proven experience in risk and compliance within an asset manager, superannuation fund, or risk consulting organization is essential. A demonstrated commercial approach to investment risk and compliance, including ability to engage effectively with senior decision makers and portfolio managers, is also required.
The ideal candidate will have well-developed interpersonal skills, sound oral and written communication skills, and the ability to manage complex stakeholders.
