About this role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Risk and Compliance Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business intake processes, ensuring searches of firm databases and managing reviews, interpretation, and summarising of results to effectively escalate critical issues and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining search terms for new or existing clients/suppliers and all matter parties
  • Analyzing data to identify possible conflicts under applicable professional conduct rules and internal risk management protocols
  • Conducting corporate research via external sources and internal databases
  • Evaluating conflict reports, identifying potential issues, and clearing false positives

In addition, the Risk and Compliance Specialist will train team members and develop the team to undertake Anti-Money Laundering due diligence, sanctions, and politically exposed persons checks on all new clients, suppliers, and business partners.
