Senior Risk and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced risk professional to drive risk awareness, ensure compliance and develop a proactive risk management culture.

This is a newly created role that reports directly to the National Risk Manager. You will be part of the national management team and hold an integrated position with all legal and business advisory groups within the firm.

You will provide commercial, pragmatic advice on all areas of risk and lead the implementation of our risk strategy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures and frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and prepare reports for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Oversee business continuity and crisis management plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Address inquiries related to risk management, compliance and health & safety.
  • Evaluate risk management processes to handle third-party risks and ensure modern slavery compliance.
  • Adapt to and master new Risk Management Systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness through workshops, training and day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Law.
  • Strong knowledge of Operational, AML/CTF, ESG and Procurement/Supply Chain risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Risk Management or Consulting.
  • Proven track record in risk management within a sizable organization.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously with meticulous attention to detail.
