Asset Maintenance Specialist

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about continuous improvement and ensuring optimal asset performance in automated facilities.

You will be responsible for the electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and warehouse control systems. This includes organising modifications, corrective maintenance, and performance improvements of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and develop new methods to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Lead training sessions to enhance the technical skills of the service team; promote collaboration and open communication.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance system performance, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage procurement system housekeeping; support maintenance planning and analyse parts usage and asset performance.
About You:
  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CMMS/WMS/WCS and industry-related software is required.
  • Experience with automated systems and strong electro-mechanical skills; fault-finding on field devices and mechanical components is essential.
  • Customer-oriented approach to minimize disruptions and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and diagnostics are necessary.
