Job Opportunity

This is a long-term engagement for a seasoned Network Architect to lead the technical direction on a large-scale transformation project within a high-profile government agency.

About the Role
  • Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise-scale network architecture across LAN/WAN, data center, hybrid, and cloud environments.
  • Develop technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide project delivery teams.
  • Define and implement network segmentation, security zones, and access control frameworks to meet stringent cyber requirements.
  • Evaluate vendor and supplier solutions to ensure compliance with government cybersecurity policies and industry best practices.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on network strategy, technology adoption, and investment priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale networks.
  • Strong background with cloud networking (Azure) and hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, HPe, and major network management platforms.
  • Skilled in technical evaluation, solution assessment, and procurement support.
  • Strong technical documentation and architectural writing skills.
  • Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect (Expert) and/or TOGAF.
  • Experience with Software Defined Networking and government networking frameworks (ISM, SOC2, OSA, IRAP).
  • Knowledge of PCI environments.
