Secure Parking is seeking an experienced and proactive Enterprise IT Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining, configuring, and improving our network infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security across our operations.
If you have strong expertise in Fortinet and Cisco Meraki technologies and are ready to take ownership of our network environment—including supporting key projects like the Voyager and MT100 carparks—we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate, diagnose and solve network system, software and hardware incidents, service requests and problems, including related services such as carriage services.
- Categorise and properly record reported incidents, service requests and problems, and develop knowledge articles and standard support procedure documentation.
- Install and upgrade software and hardware.
- Manage, maintain and monitor network infrastructure via central control software.
- Perform configuration changes under Change Management processes and thoroughly test changes.
- Schedule installation and upgrade work to minimise business disruption.
- Advise users on appropriate courses of action when troubleshooting incidents.
- Perform regular security monitoring, auditing, updates and maintenance to ensure secure operations of Secure Parking's network infrastructure.
- Monitor and take ownership of issues from start to resolution, escalating to higher levels of support for further assistance where necessary while maintaining accountability.
- With strong hands-on experience and leadership in the following areas:
- Cisco Meraki wireless access points
- Fortinet firewalls and switches
- Proficiency with FortiManager, FortiAnalyser, and FortiMonitor, including:
- Building new firewall templates
- Deploying firewalls across multiple projects
- Integrating monitoring into Azure-based dashboards
- Strong knowledge of WAN, SD-WAN, SSL & IPSEC VPN, DHCP, and general network architecture
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking, or a related field
- Relevant Fortinet and/or Cisco Meraki certifications
- Valid Unrestricted Driver's License
- Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
