Chief Child Health Researcher

This is a key role within an integrated, multidisciplinary clinical research team working across Australia and internationally. The position is suited to an experienced academic who can demonstrate leadership and initiative in driving research strategy, collaboration, and outcomes.
- A PhD in health services research, epidemiology, psychology or non-lab-based child health research is required.
- The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality publications, competitive grant acquisition, and meaningful partnerships aimed at improving health service delivery and health outcomes for children and young people.
- Conduct high-quality research that addresses priority populations, integrating care and the first 2000 days.
- Develop and lead research projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and mentor students, groups and colleagues.
- Generate grant income and contribute to competitive funding applications.
- Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact.
- Experience in translation intervention research is preferred.
- Ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
