At Eficaz Consulting Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity is for a qualified and experienced individual who can take on the role of maintaining and repairing production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Company OverviewWe are an established Australian dairy company with a diverse range of products for domestic and international markets. As a rapidly expanding business, we require a skilled Maintenance Fitter to contribute to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily maintenance activities to ensure plant machinery, buildings, and services operate efficiently and safely.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Conduct regular and programmed maintenance to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Meet quality assurance standards by completing tasks as requested and directed.
- Preventative maintenance and servicing of all production equipment to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Responsible for tools management, ensuring no tools are left in production areas.
- Repair and replacement of production machinery parts, and stock control of relevant consumables.
- General maintenance of unused machines to keep them in good working condition.
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of two years' experience in industrial, production, or facility maintenance environments.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to maintenance issues.
- Technical aptitude and ability to work independently.
- Physical fitness and health to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
- Proven teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
- Understanding and practice of food hygiene and handling concepts.
- Good problem-solving skills and sound understanding of plant and production hygiene requirements.
- Experience in fabrication welding.
- Previous experience working on high-speed production and packaging equipment, boilers, and water treatment plants.
- Holding a valid forklift truck operation license (LF) and/or electrical license.
The estimated salary for this position is AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
