About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Eficaz Consulting Pty Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dairy production facility.
Job Description:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant machinery, buildings, and services to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and fault-finding to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent qualification.
- At least two years of experience in an industrial or production maintenance environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of food hygiene and handling concepts.
- Good communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fabrication welding.
- Previous experience working on high-speed production and packaging equipment, boilers, and water treatment plants.
- Current forklift truck operation license (LF) and/or electrical license.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as sick leave, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
The successful candidate will be eligible to work in Australia and must have prior experience in a maintenance fitter role.
