Eficaz Consulting Pty Ltd is an Australian-based company specializing in recruitment services for various industries.

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at our Winston Hills manufacturing facility, where we produce a diverse range of dairy products for both domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Systems, preventing any risks to product safety.
  • Perform CIP cleans and sterilization of equipment, recording all activities.
  • Operate machinery and equipment as needed, following established protocols.
  • Liaise with Team Leaders, maintenance personnel, and suppliers to optimize machine performance and report any issues.
  • Verify availability of raw materials and packaging, notifying Team Leaders if necessary.
  • Conduct quality checks, measurements, and documentation on production records.
  • Collect samples according to the Food Safety and Quality Management system requirements.
  • Verify finished product quantities and record them on production documents.
  • Assist in training other staff members as required.
  • Communicate daily progress, issues, and important information to the next shift through a designated log.
  • Maintain a clean work area and complete cleaning tasks as assigned, including waste disposal.
  • Prepare for the next shift by ensuring all necessary materials and packaging are available.

About You:

  • You will be part of a collaborative team environment and possess strong communication skills, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A flexible and energetic approach is essential to ensure tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining safe working practices.
  • You should be committed to achieving team goals and able to work independently when necessary.
  • Familiarity with HACCP and GMP principles is required, along with attention to detail, safety, and reliability.
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing, particularly in fresh and UHT production, is desirable.
  • A basic understanding of problem-solving concepts is also expected.
