About the Role
  • This position will be responsible for owning the GA4 stack, including end-to-end setup, configuration, and continual optimisation underpinned by a solid measurement framework.
  • The successful candidate will also run GTM like a pro, maintaining dataLayer, custom event tracking, variables & triggers, and conducting routine audits to ensure accurate and compliant data.
  • Key performance indicators will include delivering insight, not just data, through advanced GA4 segments, identifying journey drop-offs, and packaging findings into plain-language recommendations and dashboards (Looker Studio or similar) that non-technical teams act on.
  • An additional responsibility will be fuelling experimentation by translating analytics into high-impact test hypotheses, helping define success metrics, and partnering with an eCommerce testing specialist on A/B and multivariate website testing.
  • The role also involves mastering attribution & audiences by refining channel-ROI models, building first-party audiences across Google & Meta, and syncing segments from BigQuery/CDPs for smarter targeting and insights.
  • Last but not least, the Digital Analytics Lead will champion data governance & privacy by upholding naming conventions, QA checklists, automated alerts, and privacy-centric tagging solutions, ensuring our analytics are future-ready.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years in digital analytics, with at least 3 years at senior analyst or manager level.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Analytics, BI, Computer Science, or equivalent commercial experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in data querying languages, such as T-SQL / SQL.
  • Ability to translate analytics into high-impact test hypotheses to drive CRO.
