Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to fill the role of Financial Accountant. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports, providing technical accounting support and advice to stakeholders, and maintaining a high level of technical accounting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on technical accounting matters and coordinate changes in upcoming accounting standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in Australian Accounting Standards and Interpretations.
  • Offer prompt and accurate responses to complex questions from stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting with demonstrated experience in a similar role, CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications, as well as extensive experience with finance systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of technical accounting principles and Australian Accounting Standards and Interpretations.
  • Familiarity with financial risks and mitigating controls across end-to-end financial processes.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate effectively.
