Job Title: Financial Accountant

This job provides a unique opportunity to work in financial accounting and management. You will be responsible for all financial accounting processes, including month end and year-end group financials with commentary, reviewing payroll processed by the team, and managing fixed assets.

Your skills and experience will enable you to contribute significantly to our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end and year-end group financials with commentary
  • Reviewing payroll processed by the team
  • Payroll, journals, reconciliations and cashflow reporting
  • Tax lodgements (BAS, PAYG, FBT), super and statutory obligations
  • Managing fixed assets, intercompany transactions and trade finance
  • Budgeting, forecasting and system/process improvements
  • Supporting audits, analytics, and business projects

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A CA/CPA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in financial accounting
  • Hands-on experience with payroll processing and reviewing
  • Knowledge of EBAs and awards
  • Confident managing staff and working across business units
  • Skilled in Excel and familiar with ERP systems
