Policy Administration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
The Policy Support Officer will be responsible for accurate and timely processing and preparation of policy administration activities, including quote preparation, new business, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals into mainframe or web applications specific to Workers Compensation.
The role involves monitoring and actioning centralised mailboxes or Insurance Workflow systems, as well as taking and processing exceptions from extended offshore teams to ensure smooth workflow for our customers.
Strong emphasis will be placed on cross-training within the team, including identifying trends to reduce referral exceptions or improve customer experience.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting underwriting requests as required and maintaining knowledge of our products and insurance guidelines.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and high performance in a business operations role.
- Proven experience in balancing multiple key deliverables in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing data input activities.
- Developing problem-solving skills, including the ability to consider different possible solutions to a problem and the application of judgement required to resolve minor issues.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to deal with difficult customers and build relationships and rapport at all levels.
- Computer literacy and navigation skills.
