Senior Fraud Investigator Role

A senior government agency is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fraud Investigator to conduct external investigations into government funding and service provision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying key issues, collecting evidence, liaising with stakeholders, and providing recommendations in the form of briefing and correspondence.

With a background in fraud or criminal investigations, you will have an eye for detail, strong research and assessment skills, and the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders.

You will present evidence and contemporary investigation experience will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold a security clearance at Baseline or Negative Vetting 1
  • Develop and contribute to productive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Embody a high standard of written and oral communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a small team environment
  • Work within a framework of legislation, established principles, work practices, and procedures
  • Be comfortable working with information and data

A Certificate IV in Investigations would be beneficial, and you must be an Australian Citizen to apply.

This position suits someone who enjoys working under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
