About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team on a Rail Infrastructure Upgrades project. The Transport for Tomorrow partnership, between Laing O'Rourke, KBR, and Transport for NSW, is working together to deliver infrastructure upgrades and modifications of existing rail infrastructure at train stations and stabling yards across NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in communications and stakeholder relations, engagement planning, and budget management.
  • Build relationships with community members and stakeholders, understand their needs and expectations, identify potential impacts, and work to mitigate them as much as possible.
  • Work closely with the delivery team to understand the construction program, identify potential impacts, and work to mitigate these impacts.
  • Manage day-to-day stakeholder and community issues, ensuring they are resolved within agreed timeframes or escalated as appropriate.
Requirements
  • A recognised qualification in communications or community engagement, or active industry experience.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience during the delivery phase of major infrastructure projects.
