Job Title: Waste Plant Operator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Waste Plant Operator.

  • We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual who has a willingness to learn and further develop their knowledge, skills, and experience.
The Role:
  • Performing waste operation activities including safe and efficient operation of various pieces of mobile plant
  • Positive and polite customer engagement and direction
  • Encouragement of Resource Recovery activities on various sites
  • Material processing and aggregation, including fixed plant baling
  • Ensuring work safety and effective programming of activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated capability and experience in operating one or more of the following plant and equipment:
    • Dozer
    • Track Loader
    • Articulated Haul Truck
    • Loader
    • Garbage Compactor
    • Excavator
    • Hook Truck
    • Skid Steer
    • Telehandler
    • Drum Roller
  • Pride in your safe operating standards and skills
  • A passion for maintaining clean and sustainable regions
Requirements:
  • Certified HR Licence
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction, Waste Management, Plant or demonstrated practical experience working on heavy equipment
  • Proven experience in the waste industry
