Expert Electrician Needed for Plant Equipment Maintenance

This is a hands-on role where you will use your problem-solving skills and technical expertise every day.
Job DescriptionAs an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment or machinery.
You will operate a preventative electrical maintenance system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Install and maintain all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment or machinery
- Operating a preventative electrical maintenance system
- Fault finding and repairs
- Program Siemens & other programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults
- Promote Lean thinking
- Attend breakdowns
- Contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation
You will be an electrically biased engineer with experience of working in a manufacturing/factory environment.
A minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline is required.
Strong experience of health and safety best practice is essential as safety is our biggest priority.
You'll enjoy working in a busy environment where you can roll your sleeves up and get hands-on.
