Job Title: Waste Management Operative

The waste management and resource recovery industry is seeking an experienced Waste Management Operative to join their team.

About the Role:
  • Operate mobile and fixed plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Engage positively with customers, promoting resource recovery activities on various sites and fostering strong relationships.
  • Process materials and aggregate, including baling using fixed plant, adhering to strict safety protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated capability and experience operating one or more of the following plant and equipment:

  • Dozer
  • Track Loader
  • Articulated Haul Truck
  • Loader
  • Garbage Compactor
  • Excavator
  • Hooks Truck
  • Skid Steer
  • Telehandler
  • Drum Roller

Pride in safe operating standards and skills is essential, along with a passion for a clean and sustainable region. A HR Licence, Certificate III in Civil Construction, Waste Management, Plant or demonstrated practical experience working on heavy equipment are highly desirable attributes.
