Recovery Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Support Specialist to join our team, working alongside residents as they re-learn or gain new skills to live independently in the community.
The successful candidate will work closely with managers, external primary care & clinical staff, assisting with domestic activities and monitoring medication management. They will also support clients to achieve short-term / long-term recovery goals, help them become active community members, and identify opportunities for education, training & employment.
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- Certificate III in Mental Health or equivalent experience;
- Experience working with people experiencing mental health conditions;
- Commitment to facilitating recovery with individualised support services;
- Initiative and comfortable working independently;
- Great conversational, influencing & negotiating skills;
- An ability to plan & problem solve;
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster.
