The Karlup Service is a holistic recovery-based model designed for women and children escaping family and domestic violence.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Recovery Support Specialists. As a valued member of our team, you will utilize your lived experience of family and domestic violence to support clients on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Support clients in developing personalized recovery plans aligned with their goals and needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
- Provide education and resources to empower clients in managing their trauma and achieving stability.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or completion of Peer Skillset at TAFE.
- Lived or living experience of recovery from family and domestic violence and related social factors.
- Experience working in a similar or community work setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of Trauma Informed Practice principles.
