Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Water Treatment Specialist to operate and maintain a leachate/waste water treatment plant in Raymond Terrace.

An attractive salary package is on offer for the role.

About the Role
  • Operate, monitor and maintain the contaminated water treatment plant with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with engineers to undertake improvement and optimisation initiatives.
  • Carry out water sampling with a high degree of care to prevent cross contamination.
  • Maintain asset integrity by regular inspections, services and testing to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure contract obligations are met.
  • Undertake routine maintenance activities including supervision of work orders and maintaining a spare parts inventory.
Requirements
  • Desirable experience in water treatment operations.
  • A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment and components.
  • Previous experience in water sampling and/or testing is highly regarded.
  • The ability to pass a criminal history check and Department of Defence baseline security clearance.
